Many close friendships have been formed through the fiddle club. Amongst these is our friendship with Chris Stout and Catriona McKay, great Scottish musicians. We have shared stages with them in Australia and in Shetland, where 40 of us arrived to do concerts with local musicians. Chris wrote this tune for the club. It is a beautiful tune, and I wrote words to it about not wasting time and getting on with friendship. Chris and I share the vocals, he recorded in Glasgow and Ireland, we recorded in Melbourne. Chris Stone wrote the beautiful string arrangement. This is for Margaret Robertson.
