One thousand years ago, the Vikings completed their epic journey from Denmark to North America via Scotland. Moving fjord into musically uncharted waters, the younger members of the MSFC decided to follow this trail through four tunes. The first tune is a traditional Danish bridal piece from the west coast island of Fano. Largo Law and Major Molle (which isn’t actually in a major key) are both old Scottish tunes which
travelled to Cape Breton in Canada. The Sandwich Maker (chosen because we are young and obviously love food) was written by contemporary Cape Breton musician Anna Murray. This set features Caleb Anderson, Tess and Luisa Hickey, Caitlin Martin, Matt and Sean Smith, Kate Oleinikov and Alex Grenville.
